Co-Founder Ron Finger Retires

Having co-founded the firm as Finger & Moy in 1981, Ron Finger served as design principal on the firm’s most visible projects. His strong team-focused work ethic strengthened both internal and external teams. Ron’s personal attention and leadership over the years has maintained the excellence, reliability, consistency, and continuity expected by FMG’s clients.

After 37 years at the helm of FMG Architects, Ron Finger retires effective December 31, 2017. As co-founder and architect, Ron’s experience as an architect spans across four decades and has involved architecture, interior design, contract administration and project management. His specialty lies in civic, transportation and public sector architecture, including significant new buildings and transportation projects. Ron brought creative, functional solutions to complex architectural problems.

He remains as a consultant to the firm. He quotes, “It’s been a long and rewarding journey. I would like to express my gratitude to all my colleagues - many who are also friends, business associates, consultants and especially clients who have been instrumental in making FMG and my 37 years something special.”
