Archives Claudia Guadagne Named Principal January, 2000 Founders Ron Finger & Stan Moy have named Claudia Guadagne as a Principal and newest member of the Board of Directors of Finger & Moy Architects. Ms. Guadagne joined Finger & Moy in 1989 as a Junior Designer after completing her architectural studies in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Through hard work, persistence, and sheer determination she attained the position of Intermediate Designer in 1993 and then Senior Designer and Project Manager in 1996. In 1999 she became both an American Citizen and a registered Architect in the State of California. Specializing in Transportation Design and Historic Renovation, Mrs. Guadagne has over 12 years of professional Architectural experience. As a senior staff member at Finger & Moy Architects she is involved with design development and project management. She is currently the Project Manager for BART projects including the San Francisco International Airport Extension and the San Bruno and South San Francisco parking structures. She is also completing work on the new Shops and Warehouse buildings for City College of San Francisco. Ms. Guadagne has worked directly with numerous public agencies including BART, CALTRANS, SamTrans, LA County Transportation Commission, and the City of San Francisco. As a Principal-Architect she assumes the added responsibilities in business development and civic outreach. Stan Moy Appointed to the Seismic Safety Commission ![]() May 30, 2000 FMG Architects is pleased to announce that Governor Gray Davis has named Stan Moy to the Seismic Safety Commission. With passage of the Seismic Safety Commission Act in 1975, the Seismic Safety Commission was established to advise the Governor, Legislature, and state and local governments on ways to reduce earthquake risk. The Seismic Safety Commission is an independent agency composed of 17 Commissioners chosen for their expertise and experience. Fifteen of the Commissioners are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate, one Commissioner represents the State Senate, and one represents the State Assembly. The Commission investigates earthquakes, researches earthquake-related issues, and recommends to the Governor and Legislature policies and programs needed to reduce earthquake risk.
